Possibly not - but certainly when there are two Wikipedia entries for different people with the same surname, the surname should bring up a disambiguation page rather than a redirect to just one. ;)
That depends on how notable the two are; if one is well-known and the other obscure, one can be the main entry with a see also... header pointing to the other - if both are equally well-known, it is customary to disambiguate AFAIK. --carlb 20:44, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
