Good luck!
Hi, Antifinnugor. Speaking of the Hungarian word 'ős', I'd like to point out that both 'father' in English and 'isä' in Finnish can be used in the meaning of 'ancestor'. Liffey 12:04, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I agree. However, the table itself should be correct, and should not suggest that the word ős means father in Hungarian.
The other word, ín is the part, that connects the muscle to the bone, while ér is the tube, in that blood flows, which has really nothing in common. The table is simply bad there. Antifinnugor 20:52, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
If you say so...
[edit]When a person yells "Die!" in a parking lot, do you think she's playing manopoly? I believe Death is the most signifigant meaning of die, as it generally comes to mind. Daniel_123 ► 11:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Liffey! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 253 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Gary Grigsby - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Eero Tarasti - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Hector (musician) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
